Please complete our Mediation Intake Form and send it to us.

Make sure that all the interested/concerned parties are listed on the Intake Form.  It is important that they are all involved with the mediation process.

Most mediation sessions will last between 2 hours and a half day.  It may be necessary to have more than one meeting.  Sometimes, but rarely, we may schedule a full day or multi-day family meeting, particularly if there are complex or multiple issues and participants have travelled to attend.

Co-mediation is sometimes a great option on complex cases or particularly when there a more than six parties in the mediation.  Two mediators can combine their expertise, offer gender balance, and observe and support the parties more effectively than one mediator.  The cost of two mediators is often less than one attorney per hour.

Our fees.  Our fees include an initial project set-up/administration flat fee plus an hourly rate for the time we spend on your case.  Depending on the nature of your case, we may ask for a retainer, which will be placed in a trust account.  We will invoice against the retainer and if necessary ask for it to be replenished as our engagement with you progresses.  Any funds left in the retainer at the end of the project are returned.  If a retainer is not requested, then payment is expected at the end of each mediation session.
